Senior Gameplay Engineer
In This Role You Will
- Work closely with game design and art by iterating on new and existing gameplay features
- Ensure that strong architectural and algorithmic decisions are made
- Keep a multi-platform mindset when writing code
- Maintain a high level of quality in existing gameplay systems
- Contribute ideas toward all aspects of the game’s production and development
- Write robust, maintainable code
- Supporting leads in finding solutions, through brainstorming and discussions
- Inspire other engineers to grow and achieve their potential
- Be proactive by following up with other departments to ensure specs are accurate and in sync
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 4 years experience developing PC/console games professionally in various stages of development lifecycle
- Experience writing code in a networked multiplayer context
- An analytical mind, with keen problem-solving skills
- Strong C++ skills
- Strong UE4 experience
- Strong math skills
- Proficiency in talking about game design
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and able to work independently
